I started FS distro in the late summer of 2021. I had been planning on starting my own distro for quite some time but never had gotten around to it for some reason or another, there was always something stopping me. One day I decided to shoot the event planners at the Boston dyke-fest an email, I didn’t expect a table but was told someone had just canceled and I would be allowed to run my table! The event was 3 days after the email was sent so I got to work as fast as I could. I printed off about 300 zines for the event, and ran out in about 3 hours. With the huge success of that event it was solidified that this project was going to be a mainstay.
