Melt Divine Feminine into Divine Animacy

A short work from Sophie Strand, a relatively new author/poet writing about Animism and mythology.

I found out about her thru the podcast “The Emerald”

(This episode in particular)

“Divine Feminine just isn’t big enough for all the relationships holding and constituting me these days. She thins my language into a one to one relationship. Even if she includes saints and “mother earth” and all women, it’s easy to slip into monic language. One mother. One relationship. One sacred gender expression. One temporality. One thinking animal. One species.”

Indwiloq

A fable with a undertones of green anarchy. A story suitable for adults and children that (hopefully) teaches an important lesson about separation from nature.

Not so very far away, not so very long ago, a world was born. The young world awakened, drew in its first breath, and yawned for a thousand upon a thousand years. The Everything who gave life to the planet leaned in close and whispered in the incomprehensibly slow speech of the Cosmos. The Everything said, “We shall call you Indwiloq, though you shall be called by many names in your long life. The infant world mimicked,Indwiloq,” and stretched long and hard as the Everything went spinning on.
